ISTRIA, LOVREČ - Istrian stone house with a wonderful view

Already in the Byzantine era, Lovreč was fortified with ramparts and towers, which were later thoroughly renovated on several occasions, and most of the fortifications visible today originate from the Venetian era, when Sveti Lovreč was the headquarters of the military administration of the entire Venetian part of Istria - the so-called Pazenatic. In Lovreč itself you will find everything you need for your daily stay, including a grocery store, a pizzeria, a coffee bar and an ATM, and in the nearby Lim channel, which is a famous breeding ground for fish and shellfish, there is one of the leading fish restaurants in Istria.
